ARCO stands for Analysis-Ready Cloud-Optimized, a framework to structure and store geospatial [[Data|data]] more efficiently by: 1) making them uniform, 2) organizing them into smaller subsets. This allows for any part of a dataset to instantly be made viewable and available to users for quick download. ARCO data processing is especially useful for remote sensing, environmental and climate science, and AI applications.
