- 4-6 [[Artichoke|artichokes]]
- [[Olive Oil|olive oil]]
- [[Salt|salt]] flakes
# Method
- Remove the hardest outer leaves of the [[Artichoke|artichokes]]; yellower leaves should appear when the toughest ones have been removed.
- Cut the stem and the tip of each one. Be thorough removing the outer ring of the tail.
- Boil the artichokes for 15 minutes.
- After that, let the artichokes drip and cool on a tray or an empty grill facing down.
- Open the artichokes like a flower – be gentle!
- Use [[Olive Oil|olive oil]] and sear the artichokes for some minutes on a pan. When brown, sear the bottom as well.
- You can serve them with [[Salt|salt]] flakes, strong cheeses, etc.
