It is a widespread belief that regulating your [[Insulin|insulin]] production (to limit it) promotes [[Fat Oxidation|fat oxidation]]. This is **not** true and it comes from two misunderstandings:
1. The fact that more insulin production decreases fat oxidation, which is not a causality relation but a consequence: eating increases insulin to deal with the [[Glucose|glucose]], and the fat oxidation is limited because the body was just fed.
2. A fake causality between correctly regulating oneself insulin and a loss of weight, which is caused because it is necessary to limit [[Carbohydrates|carbohydrate]] intake to regulate insulin (provoking a [[Caloric Deficit|caloric deficit]], which leads to weight loss).
