Truth be told, I already had a [[Coffee|coffee]] corner at [[Home|home]] since, well, I brew filter coffee and every corner can be a coffee corner if you only have to fit a scale. But the corner I typically use in my kitchen to brew coffee is a bit of a mess: things don't fit comfortably, and there is virtually no organization. From the previous tenant, I inherited three small spice shelves in that corner, that I don't like that much because I prefer [[Storing Spices|my spices in dark places]]. Therefore, on [[2026-03-12]], I decided to remove those shelves, move all spices to a spice drawer, and properly organize it with a larger shelf that fits my coffee apparel. ## Shopping list - It is a corner so I can take advantage of corner shelves to fit larger items if needed. I decided that [this pack](https://www.amazon.es/dp/B0DS27VXBT?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title) provides good value and actually let's me install one of the pieces in the shower (I only need two for the kitchen). ## Thoughts I struggled a bit [[Removing Adhesive Shelves|removing the previous adhesive shelves]], but I am certainly very happy with the result. I gained a bit of space to keep everything tidy and honestly it looks much, much nicer. After a week using it ([[2026-03-26|March 26th]]), I can only say that I love the result. I have just the space I needed, and now at the table level I only have the kettle, grinder and scale; the rest of the tools and coffee bags are now displayed nicely. As future work: I would like a better solution to hold the paper filters, and maybe check if I can find one of these new cheap kettle + scale holders to minimize space when not in use.
