American modern architect born in 1867 in Richland Center, United States. The creator of “organic architecture,” he designed over 1,000 structures including Fallingwater, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, and numerous Prairie-style homes that redefined the relationship between buildings and their environments. Died 1959.
