I care more about ecosystems than languages, as languages can only take you so far. At some point, if you want to be productive, you need the wisdom of the open source community.
The speed-up can be even higher, and in the case of Rust, it was almost twice as fast as the NumPy accelerated function. And you know, as I was showing before, the code, despite some weird elements of the Rust syntax, that might seem foreign for Python users, doesn’t actually look that difficult because it’s basically mathematical formulas.
