While I was creating a coffee corner at home, I had to both remove and include adhesive shelves like these ones. While removing the old ones, it seems almost impossible, and I planned on using some sort of acetone or alcohol. However, reading the instructions that came with the new one, turns out these shelves usually can be removed by applying heat on them to soften the adhesive, using a hair dryer (or, as I did, a standing iron).
