One of the practices that I try to force myself to very often is “working in public”. I have seen several iterations of this idea, but it can be distilled of not attempting to have some perfect, elaborate, and processed standard for all the content you have – instead, as soon as you write something, make the effort of it being something “whole” and just publish it.
This may seem as something that could result in a lot of useless stuff being published, but it turns out to generate the opposite reaction: that way of forcing oneself to put something out there results in being more often than note forced as well to finish it, and not wait for a perfect state that is hardly reachable.
This Digital Garden and its Obsidian Publish setup is my way of working in public. While my blog is a platform for well thought, written content, the public garden is a place for all the notes, cheatsheets, ideas and things I learn every day. That way, in this unorganized and probably hard to travel manner, I can display the work and easily share it.
