RPCS3 is an open-source PlayStation 3 emulator. It requires the official PS3 firmware (PS3UPDAT.PUP), which Sony provides for free.

• Requires a decent CPU (6+ cores recommended)
• First launch of each game is slow due to shader compilation

Game Formats

• Disc games (ID starts with “B”): folder containing PS3_DISC.SFB + PS3_GAME\ subfolder. Rename the folder with .ps3 extension
• PSN games (ID starts with “N”): require .m3u file pointing to EBOOT.BIN

In RetroBat, RPCS3 must be downloaded manually from rpcs3.net/download and placed in emulators\rpcs3\. Firmware is installed via File > Install Firmware inside RPCS3 itself.
